Abbey to Pigs and not quite

so another session sitting in front of the screen thinking about what to type in. Ok so I have tried to plan this. I have not been out today, to take pictures that is, as forecast the clouds sat over Shrewsbury all day and it just grey and flat all day. I did have a quick walk around the Abbey one day I will go in and have look. I read Cadfael by Ellis Peters years ago and it is odd to see a place that was so large in the stories now much smaller than I imagined. I can see where it has been rebuilt and holes filled in. This sort of got me thinking about pictures I had taken of buildings especially those I had look at and gone mmm not quite..

So this is a picture of the lighthouse at the mull of galloway. It works there is a lot of grass and that is about all I The sky is well full of clouds so there is no contrast to the white of the buildings.

Sometimes I think the idea is almost there. So this picture taken from the London Eye works sort of. I suppose I just never really liked it very much. I could have cropped the right hand side, but even then the central image is a shadow on green water. As I look at it now I like some of the detailing in the shadow but it just does not grab me.

Talking of things that grabbed me I was taking some pictures of a Pig at Monrieth animal World in S W Scotland not that far from Mull of Galloway as the crow or seagull flies. Of all the pictures I took this was my favourite.

I am sure there is a "category" I can put it in, but I felt I needed to save it for something special. I will I think print it out. I am not sure if anyone apart from his mother will like this but I do.

Anyway I have spent far too long doing this and I need my bed.

Hello Cristina I hope by the time you read this I will have sent you a reply. Hope all is well.
